The Gear IconX Manager enables users to access features such as device settings and status view when connected to a Gear IconX device.

This application is not standalone as it functions as a component of the Samsung Gear application.

Prior installation of the Samsung Gear application is necessary for the proper operation of the Gear IconX application.

※ To utilize all features on Android 6.0 or later, please grant the necessary permissions to the Gear IconX Manager in Android Settings: Settings > Applications > Application manager > Gear IconX Manager > Permissions

The app service requires the following permissions. Optional permissions are available, but not enabled by default.

• Required Permissions:
• • Phone: Used to check for device version update information
  • Storage Space: Utilized for storing music in external storage for music transmission function
  • Schedule: Required to check schedule contents for voice notification function
  • Contact: Necessary for accessing contact information when receiving a call for voice notification function
  • SMS: Enables confirmation of SMS contents for voice notification

If your system software version is below Android 6.0, update the software to configure App permissions. Previous permissions granted can be reset via the Apps menu in the device settings post-software update.
